There’s a big difference between coffee that has been sitting on a shelf for months and coffee that was freshly roasted with your order in mind.
At Spurred Up Coffee Co., we believe a better morning starts with better coffee. And one of the biggest parts of better coffee is freshness.
Coffee Doesn't Stay Fresh Forever
Once coffee is roasted, it begins to change. Over time, the aromas and flavors that make a great cup of coffee stand out gradually begin to fade.
That's why freshly roasted coffee can taste noticeably different from a bag that's been sitting in a warehouse or on a store shelf for months.
Fresh coffee gives you the chance to experience more of the aroma, flavor, and character that makes each roast unique.
Our Approach to Fresh Coffee
We don't want bags of Spurred Up Coffee sitting around waiting for someone to order them.
Instead, we work with our roasting partner to have coffee freshly roasted as orders come in. Once it's ready, we get it headed your way.
It may take a little more planning than pulling an old bag off a warehouse shelf, but we believe the difference is worth it.
Whether you choose the bright, lively character of First Light, the smooth, balanced flavors of Open Range, or the rich, bold profile of Burnin Daylight, we want you to enjoy your coffee while those flavors are at their best.
Good Coffee Doesn't Have to Be Complicated
You don't need expensive equipment or a complicated brewing routine to enjoy good coffee.
Use your regular drip coffee maker, French press, pour-over, or whatever gets your morning started.
Start with good coffee. Use fresh water. Brew it the way you like it.
That's really what matters.
Made for Everyday Mornings
Some mornings start before sunrise. Others start with getting the kids ready, heading to work, opening the shop, feeding livestock, or simply trying to get moving.
Whatever your morning looks like, that first cup should be something you look forward to.
That's what we're building at Spurred Up Coffee Co.—good coffee, freshly roasted, made for everyday mornings.
Wherever the day takes you, start it well.
